By managing the city’s infrastructure with the Fluent Kunto system, you can make your work life much easier. With Fluent Kunto, you can, for example, change traffic signs, inventory park benches and manage other infrastructure assets easily and cost-effectively.
Did you know that with the Fluent Kunto system, you can easily update all the traffic control device data required by the Road Traffic Act (729/2018) to Digiroad? We explained the requirements of the new Road Traffic Act in more detail in our article Municipal authority, here’s how to submit the data to Digiroad.
Updating information in the Kunto system is simple; if a municipality or a contractor starts to add, for example, traffic sign information to Digiroad, the information can be updated through a few clear steps:
1. Employees take photos of all traffic signs with the Fluent Kunto mobile application.
2. Images and coordinates are automatically recorded in the Kunto system, where the data can also be categorized as desired (for example, traffic sign, traffic light).
3. Based on the collected data, material compatible with Digiroad is created, which can be printed, for example, in .xls and .csv formats and can also be delivered via the interface to other systems.
4. Collected information can be used in the planning of future works, such as repair, inspection or replacement of traffic signs.
5. Correspondingly, the Kunto system can also be used to plan, for example, the inventory of park benches, the emptying of ashtrays, or practically any type of infrastructure work, once the asset information has first been collected in the system or brought in from another system.
